All of the Worship Services are now being recorded LIVE using Facebook and their “Go Live” capability. If you are a Facebook user and would like to see a service, please search our page at: First Christian Church - DeLand Disciples of Christ.Once on the page, click on the VIDEOS tab and all of the recordings are available from December 2018 forward. The initial video is posted to Facebook Live! at 10:45 a.m. as the Worship Service begins. This is a static picture showing the pulpit and video screen. The Worship Service is also camera videoed to replace the static cell phone video with close-up active movement with Closed Captioning. As this process takes time, this camera video will replace the static video sometime on Mondays. We work to create the best work possible for those who cannot attend the services or who may miss an occasional Sunday Worship Service. We are also in the process of being able to watch the service by selecting the button to the left “Online Worship” that will open another tab in your browser and automatically connect you to the weekly message. If you have any tips or suggestions, we welcome your input. All correspondence will be read. Please feel free to email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.Thank You!
We are currently “under construction” on this page. Our Zoom Wednesday Night Bible Studies on the book of Ecclesiastes will be available soon. Keep checking back with us to see the progress of this new endeavor.
Unsure of what the future holds? Struggling with day to day living? Stressed by the news locally and worldwide?Feel lonely and out of touch with family and friends? Do you long for a way to gain ground and be centered somehow?Jesus said…”Come to me all of you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” Many individuals and couples have come through the doors of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) from other churches and all walks of life. They are amazed as they walk through the door to be warmly greeted with a smile, handshake or a hug and feel “at home” for the first time in way too long. Jesus was all about having relationships. He started one-on-one with each Disciple…calling them to follow Him. We believe that relationships are important too. We would love to make your acquaintance. Discover the Disciples Difference!
